Ben has an inquisitive mind, and an astute awareness of the global developments in architecture, art, science and technology. He holds an infallible belief that the changing role of the Architect is one that encompasses the creative industries as a whole in shaping the future spaces we both inhabit and observe.

In 2006 he was short-listed as Young Architect of the year by Building Design magazine. Ben has tutored design at the Icelandic Institute of Design, Liverpool University and Oslo Academy of Arts as well as guest tutoring at RMIT, Monash & Melbourne University.

Whilst participating in a global Architectural dialogue, his passion is also for the minute detail of everyday objects and the poetry of personal experience. His passion for design has earned him numerous accolades, but Ben’s focus remains on the design in process, challenging the norm in every instance to ensure a product of absolute resolution. Fascinated by materiality and the opportunities it presents.

A calm and level personality who encourages and facilitates participation in the design process, his manner assisting the client in ensuring the maximum benefit from their brief, and then realising it in a clear and well communicated manner.
