Dulux Colour Forecast 2015

Dulux collaborates with local design practices to bring its 2015 colour forecast to life. After studying trend forecasts from around the world, four inspired colour palettes were created. Themed around connections, the emotive palettes represent connecting, reconnecting and disconnecting from the world around us.

Architecture practice Edwards Moore were engaged to create schemes which demonstrate the flexibility and versatility of the colour palettes. The practice looked to the dramatic and moody colours of the Australian landscape to create the Wildlands set. With tones inspired by the untamed terrains and wild mountains and forests, the setting created is designed to connect with the primal selves. The colours reflect primitive materials such as timber, stone, leather and fur.

Silentshift, also created by Edwards Moore represents disconnecting from the real world. The dusky pinks and cosmetic hues create a calm, dreamlike feel which invites the mind rest and unplug.
